A custom WordPress-based website redesign for the premier provider of real estate databases and proprietary software in the New York metropolitan area. Genesis Computer Consultants provides real estate data and database management for several different geographic areas, and they needed a new website that would provide information on all their offerings in an organized way.

The original Genesis website was static, meaning that revisions had to be done manually.  Although the clients are certainly adept at computer systems and programming, the fact that the website had no dedicated Content Management System made it difficult and time-consuming to administer.  It had also become disorganized over time, and its outdated look-and-feel didn’t accurately reflect the company’s cutting-edge products and services.

AndiSites’ redesign resulted in a contemporary and attractive website, and the use of professional stock photography provided beautiful visual cues reflecting the geographical areas that the company serves.  A brighter, cooler palette made the site easy on the eyes and gives user a more pleasant browsing experience.  “Lightbox”-style modal windows display screenshots and slideshows attractively, and plenty of links among pages allow the user to find what they need easily.  Information entered into an easy-to-use contact form is emailed to the client immediately upon submission.  And finally, a members-only download section allows clients with the proper login credentials to access and download protected files provided by the company.

Best of all, the entire site is driven by WordPress, winner of the 2010 Open Source CMS Hall of Fame award and an all-around great way to develop robust websites quickly and relatively inexpensively.

To begin with she was very easy to work with, listening to everything I communicated to her — including a number of revisions — and offering helpful suggestions. While I was giving her my design requirements and ideas, she also had numerous contacts with our technical consultant to make sure all the behind-the-scenes tasks our web site needed to do would be handled correctly.
