Nothing like light-up dancing robots to get you in the holiday spirit–and they even make a Christmas tree…kinda. Watch for the little guy that falls over halfway through. Part of the choreography, or too much robot eggnog?

Back in August I told you about the amazing day-improving power of doing something you never thought you could do. Well, I DID IT! This past Sunday I successfully completed my first triathlon (yes, swimming, biking, and running, one after the other), and I can’t wait to do it again.
So in honor of adult-onset triathletes everywhere–and in thanks to my amazingly supportive family and friends–here are some feats of bicycle dexterity. Although I’ve not seen these done in a triathlon, never say never…
Seriously. NEVER say “never”. You might cut yourself off from a wonderful life-changing experience. Instead, do one thing today towards a “crazy” goal, and see where that takes you.

Thought of by some as the ultimate tribute, by others as the ultimate annoyance, “Rickrolling” is an Internet prank that’s been around for a couple of years…but which apparently never grows old. What’s “Rickrolling”? Here’s the Wiki definition:
Rickrolling is an Internet meme typically involving the music video for the 1987 Rick Astley song “Never Gonna Give You Up”. The meme is a bait and switch: a person provides a web link that he or she claims is relevant to the topic at hand, but the link actually takes the user to the Astley video….When a person clicks on the link and is led to the web page, he or she is said to have been “Rickrolled” (also spelled Rickroll’d).
As the practice has spread, two of the various Rickrolling videos available online have been viewed more than 39 million times combined. …Rickrolling has extended beyond Web links to playing the video or song disruptively in other situations, including public places; this culminated when Astley and the song made a surprise appearance in the 2008 Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, a televised event with tens of millions of viewers. [In this Rickroll, Rick Astley himself emerged from a float of characters singing a completely unrelated song to lip-synch his own..."Never Gonna Give You Up," of course. The crowd went wild.]
In a recent Rickrolling music video remix by DJ Morgoth of Germany, the lovely lyrics of Rick Astley are mashed-up with the edgy images and instrumentals of Nirvana’s “Smells Like Teen Spirit.” It’s amazing how well the beats match up, and the switches back and forth between Kurt Cobain’s pounding guitar and Astley’s puffball of hair are worth every moment (whether you like the music or not…admittedly, these two never had quite the same fan base). Enjoy!
