• Coding: Most “old” sites these days are tables-based, which cause them to load slowly. • Color Palette: Like those avacado appliances, an outdated color palette can make your site look stale. We work with the latest palettes and color trends to make your site look modern, clean, and up-to-date.
• Fonts: Recent usability studies show that certain fonts are easier on the eyes when viewed onscreen, making it more likely that visitors will spend time on your site. Also, some browsers have the capability to “magnify” fonts for those who like to see things a little larger. We can make simple changes to make sure that your text is readable and scalable.
• Content: People don’t read on the Internet the way they do in print; rather, they “scan” in predictable patterns. We make sure that your content only includes what’s necessary, that key words and phrases are highlighted, and that they’re organized in a way that makes it all easy to take in at a glance.
• Layout: Although grid-based layouts are here to stay (and for good reason), too many years of templates have led to a generic look among older sites. We can make sure your layout not only displays your content well but also reflects your “brand”.
• Navigation: Getting around a site easily is crucial to a good user experience. We make sure that your pages are organized intuitively, and that your navigation makes sense to a first-time visitor.
